March News Recap
We had another busy month at Tru-D with a trade show, several hospitals rolling out their disinfection robots for the first time, a new partner announcement and much more. A lot of exciting news was shared, so in case you missed it, here’s a quick recap:
We traveled to Denver, Colorado, March 7 through 11 to exhibit and show off our new trade show booth at AORN Surgical Conference and Expo 2015. It happened to be Patient Safety Awareness Week, and we were able to hear from health care professionals about the challenges their hospitals face as they address patient safety. We enjoyed speaking with everyone who stopped by the booth to learn about Tru-D!
We announced an agreement with HealthTrust, which serves 1,350 acute care facilities and members in more than 15,000 locations. Now, HealthTrust member hospitals can purchase and utilize Tru-D.
Hospitals Roll Out Tru-D
Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Sarasota, Florida, became one of the first hospitals in the state to recently deploy Tru-D. The health care staff has incorporated Tru-D into disinfection routines, especially in high-risk areas, as an added layer of protection for patients. Check out the local ABC Action News story.
UnityPoint Health in Peoria, Illinois, showed off their new Tru-D for the Journal Star. Health care leadership at the hospital discussed how they are “blasting superbugs to oblivion” before they can harm patients. Watch the video here.
Saint Francis Health
Saint Francis Health in Topeka, Kansas, shared the good news about their new Tru-D robot with KSNT News. This is the first hospital in Kansas to deploy Tru-D. Watch the story here.
Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, New Hampshire, thinks their new Tru-D came to them straight from a Hollywood set! Now, they are enjoying their 21st century solution – Tru-D – as it annihilates superbugs.
