Marshall County Hospital last week began training its staff to work with the newest addition to its environmental services team—the Tru-D SmartUVC robot. Tru-D, short for “total room ultraviolet disinfection,” is a UV disinfection robot that uses UVC light energy to kill deadly pathogens such as C. diff, MRSA, MERS, Ebola.
