Tru-D July News Recap
It was a thrilling month for Tru-D as two hospital systems took the time to spread the word – and their excitement – about rolling out their new Tru-D units.
Several Roper St. Francis Healthcare staff members showed off their new Tru-D on Facebook. The caption read, “That’s not R2-D2; it’s even cooler. Tru-D is Roper Hospital’s new machine that kills bacteria with UV light. We’re thrilled to have another tool to help keep our patients safe!” Check out their post here.
Bon Secours Health System in Richmond, Virginia, is utilizing six Tru-D units at four hospital locations, including three at St. Mary’s Hospital, one at St. Francis Medical Center and one at Memorial Regional Medical Center, as well as one at Mary Immaculate Hospital in Newport News, Virginia.
Local media recently spoke with Bon Secours about how Tru-D is serving as another level of protection against healthcare-associated infections and safeguarding the well-being of every patient who walks through the door of hospitals.
