Augusta University Health Understands the Importance of a Germ-free Environment
Augusta University Health in Augusta, Georgia, understands the importance of providing a germ-free environment. To augment its cleaning and disinfection processes, it uses Tru-D SmartUVC to kill harmful and unwanted germs.
“We are serious about providing the best patient care as possible, and we view the Tru-D robot as an added layer of protection against infection for our patients, their families and even our staff during their time at our facility,” said Anthony Carter, first shift operations manager in Augusta University Medical Center’s Department of Environmental Services. “This technology can clean an entire room from a single location, and I am grateful we can offer this level of disinfection for our patients.”
Augusta University Health uses its fleet of Tru-D disinfection robots in various area throughout the facility. Operating from one position in the room, Tru-D provides significant pathogen reduction while reducing human error in the disinfection process.
