Thanks to generous community contributions through the Capital Region Medical Foundation, Capital Region has invested in a Tru-D disinfection robot to ensure the cleanest and germ-free environment possible. The Tru-D device, in addition to their already stringent disinfection protocols, is one way CRMC is raising the bar when it comes to the level of care it provides to all patients.

“Bringing this technology to CRMC is just another way that we are working to protect the well-being of every patient in our care, and protect our staff as well,” Larry Brumback, manager of environmental services, says of the investment. “Safeguarding the integrity of our healthcare environment is especially critical in these pandemic times, to defend against all healthcare associated infection.”
