Meet Scout: A versatile, compact UVC device for disinfection of small spaces
Scout is the most compact, maneuverable component of the Tru-D iQ system and provides powerful UVC disinfection. It can be used by itself for small spaces with the Tru-D iQ Controller, and it nestles into the Tru-D iQ Tower for ease of transportation.
Continuing Tru-D SmartUVC’s commitment to and tradition of efficacy, Scout inactivates Clostridioides difficile, Candida auris, Staphylococcus aureus, SARS-CoV-2 and influenza A in both direct and shadowed areas. In an average size restroom, Scout achieved significant microorganism inactivation in direct line of sight and shadowed areas in as little as eight minutes
Scout features the following:
- Sensor360® technology that ensures thorough room disinfection, every time
- Eight UVC sensors in a 360° array that determine precise UVC cycle time
- Passive infrared (PIR) motion sensors that recognize heat signature of human motion and/or presence in the space and prevent UVC from being emitted
- Connectivity to the Tru-D SmartHUB reporting system, an all-inclusive, web-based application
- Effective inactivation against unwanted microorganisms in the space
