Vicky Marshall, SCRHCD director of nursing and trauma program manager, introduces the Pinedale Clinic's new Tru-D disinfection device with Jim O’Dea, Tru-D regional sales manager.

Pinedale Clinic in Pinedale, Wyoming, has added a UVC disinfection robot to its arsenal of cleaning and disinfection protocols.

For the health care facility, the Tru-D device has an important mission – to disinfect a room, killing nearly all microorganisms lurking on surfaces, including SARS-CoV-2.

When SARS-CoV-2 emerged, the Tru-D device went through another test conducted by a third party. The testing demonstrated the Tru-D robot achieved 3 to 4 log10 reduction of the SARS-CoV-2 virus at distances up to 14 feet in both direct and shadowed areas.
