Tru-D SmartUVC to Attend 2015 Premier Annual Breakthroughs Conference and Exhibition
Tru-D SmartUVC LLC will make its debut appearance at the 2015 Premier Annual Breakthroughs Conference and Exhibition as the team will be exhibiting the most innovative UV disinfection robot in booth 740 from June 24 to 26.
Tru-D SmartUVC LLC announced a group purchasing agreement with Premier Inc. for room infection prevention products in January. Since then, Premier members have been able to take advantage of special pricing and terms pre-negotiated by Premier for the purchase of Tru-D’s market-leading, germ-killing robot.
The ECRI Institute named disinfecting robots as the No. 1 technology in the Top 10 Hospital C-Suite Watch List for 2015. And, by no coincidence, the highly anticipated results of the most comprehensive UV disinfection study to date, Benefits of Enhanced Terminal Room Disinfection performed by the Duke Infection Control Outreach Network, are due out later this year. Tru-D’s exclusive selection in the study, which was funded by the Centers for Disease Prevention and Control, resulted in an epidemiologically correct double-blind data pool inclusive of 25,000 room disinfection cycles and 100,000 patient days in 10 hospitals of varying size and census. This vast data pool allowed for the exclusion of confounding factors and conflicts of interest related to the current literature available, making the soon-to-be-released real-world results of this study the first of its kind.
