Welcome Jeanette McFarlane, Clinical Sales Specialist
Beginning in 2000, Jeanette McFarlane spent 15 years with Kaiser, working in both finance and quality. “In 2005, I moved to Quality where I really found my passion,” said McFarlane. “I was able to see the impact of my work directly affect patients, and that’s when I started my career in Quality Assurance, Patient Safety and Performance Improvement.”
In 2011, McFarlane transitioned to San Rafael Medical Center as an Infection Prevention Consultant, and later in 2015 she joined Becton Dickson as a Senior Account Manager with MedMined, servicing the West. Along with her Clinical Support Specialist, she managed more than 70 hospitals and 2,400 end users. In this role, she was responsible for securing client relationships and ensuring contract security. McFarlane joined Tru-D in 2018 as a Clinical Sales Specialist, focusing on Nevada and California. “I love infection prevention and advocating for patient safety,” she said.
McFarlane enjoys spending time with her family (husband, Calvin; children, Joe and Michaela), taking long walks through the East Bay Shoreline as well as cooking, riding her bike and traveling. She holds a B.S. in Industrial Organization Psychology and in Health Sciences from California State University East Bay and a Master’s in Public Administration from Golden Gate University.
