Tru-D SmartUVC, a PDI solution, recommends cleaning the Tru-D iQ System on a weekly basis, or as needed, according to your facility’s protocols and standards.
Disconnect the iQ System from the wall or power source prior to cleaning.
For additional system specific instructions on how to clean and maintain your system, see your IQ System Operations Manual and follow PDI product label instructions for use.
Controller
• Wipe the Controller screen with PDI Easy Screen® Cleaning Wipes, a damp cloth or sponge, or 70% ethyl or isopropyl alcohol .
• Clean the outer shell and casters with PDI Super Sani-Cloth® germicidal disposable wipes.
Scout
• Wipe the Scout with a PDI Super Sani-Cloth germicidal disposable wipe or a damp cloth, mild soap solution, 70% ethyl or isopropyl alcohol.
• Clean the lamps with PDI Alcohol Prep Pads.
Tower
• Wipe the Tower with a a PDI Super Sani-Cloth germicidal disposable wipe, damp cloth, mild soap solution, 70% ethyl or isopropyl alcohol.
• Clean the lamps with PDI Alcohol Prep Pads.
NOTE: Do not use Virex or ether-based chemicals on Tru-D iQ devices. Do not directly spray cleaning solutions on the devices.
