The First Step to Successful UVC Implementation: Planning

Posted by Tru-D SmartUVC 01.09.19

Jennifer-PickerMy name is Jennifer Picker, and I am the Manager of Program Management for Tru-D SmartUVC. In my role, I work with our entire team to build strategic, robust disinfection programs that are tailored to address each hospital’s disinfection goals.

Over the next few weeks, we will be discussing tips for implementing a successful UVC disinfection program.

Prior to implementing a Tru-D UVC disinfection program, our team will schedule pre-implementation calls to help guide teams and stakeholders at facilities to focus on a specific microorganism and/or a specific area of the hospital to launch their program.

Setting goals, assigning a champion and putting UVC disinfection as a top priority will assist in hardwiring a successful program.

On these calls, Tru-D discusses disinfection goals, logistics of how to integrate Tru-D into workflow, portal access, training dates and more.
